What is (Non-Destructive Testing)?

What is NDT (Non-Destructive Testing)? "NDT" describes the many special techniques and methods to used to detect, inspect, measure and evaluate materials in a non-damaging way.  Non-destructive methods make use of advanced, High-Tech sensors such as Ultrasonic (UT), Eddycurrent (ET), Magnetic (MT), Penetrant (PT), Radiography (RT), Optical/Laser (VT), Electromagnetic Acoustic (EMAT), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) and others.

NDT tools are highly effective and play an essential role in quality improvement and quality assurance for industrial manufacturers such as Automobile, Steel, Heavy Industry, Nuclear, Aerospace, Agriculture, Marine products, Food and many others.

At the same time, NDT works to ensure the safety of chemical plants, oil refineries, Nuclear facilities, and aircraft.  It also has an important role in ensuring public safety through the measurement of critical infrastructure such as bridges, highways, railroads, heat exchangers and more.

Matech is always searching the world for the most advanced NDT technologies in order to supply the best possible solutions to our valued customers. We do this because we don't believe that a single method solution exists for all testing problems. At this time Matech is a provider of most key methods, including UT, MT, PT, ET, RFT, AT, LUT, MFL, VT and RT, which is a significant feature of our organization.

We don・スft just provide testing hardware, we also offer valuable Inspection and Measuring Know-How developed from our long experience, software, assembly for combined-method testing, fully-Automated Systems, and a range of services to meet our Japanese customers' needs.

We・スfre sorry, this is the only English language page available on our website since our sales activity is concentrated only inside Japan.
